Backlit Displays

Backlit displays are used in retail, exhibitions, and signage to deliver even illumination and high colour accuracy across the viewing area. They are typically produced on Backlit PET, Backlit Paper, Optically Clear Vinyl, and Backlit Fabric, chosen for their light transmission and opacity control. Printing is handled either by dye-sublimation workflows for polyester-based backlit fabrics (using transfer paper on roll-to-roll printers) or by eco-solvent, mild solvent, and UV-cured hybrid/UV-cured roll-to-roll ink systems for graphic layers, with consistent dot placement for smooth gradients and fine detail reproduction. The process focuses on uniform ink laydown, strong ink-substrate bond for pinhole-free coverage, and tight registration accuracy to maintain edge definition and optical balance when illuminated.
