Retractable banners are used in retail and corporate environments for short to medium-term promotions, wayfinding, and event messaging where the graphic needs to roll smoothly into a compact housing. They are typically produced on non-curl PVC banner and non-curl PET film to help maintain flatness during printing and feeding. The graphics are usually printed with eco-solvent, mild solvent, or UV-cured hybrid inks, using wide-format roll-to-roll or hybrid printer workflows depending on whether faster curing or higher colour density is required. After printing, the media is trimmed and prepared for mounting onto the banner roller system.
