Ink developer and manufacturer, NUtec Digital Ink participated at the FESPA Africa expo, co-located with Sign Africa, Modern Marketing and Africa Print from 13-15 September 2023 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa and garnered a first prize stand award for its efforts.

Presenting a showcase of exciting end-uses and applications, NUtec left visitors in awe of the many novel and impactful ways their UV-curable, eco-solvent and water-based inks for digital inkjet printing could be used. The company now also offers print service providers an array of products with environmental certifications such as the GREENGUARD Gold UV range, as well as the OEKO-TEX Eco Passport dye sublimation range, developed with sustainability in mind.

Built with Xanita engineered fibreboard made from recycled cardboard boxes, NUtec’s exhibition stand featured many different print techniques on various substrates. The company also showed creative ways to repurpose old print samples and off-cuts, as the company focusses on the reduction of waste sent to landfills and encourages recycling and re-use. A highlight for visitors to the stand was the fun and whimsical underwater-themed UV light tunnel which brought a smile to  every face walking through it.

Whether used to convey a brand’s message, to energise an event or to draw attention to a sales promotion, NUtec Digital Ink’s product range for wide format printing is the ideal alternative ink solution.
